Microsoft has recently IE version 7, right? Well they did, and when they did, they also release Internet Explorer Administration Kit, which allows developers to customize IE7.
So Google took advantage of this and customized it to use Google as the default search engine, have an integrated Google Toolbar, and make Google the homepage. A homepage they can personalize.
Do a search on more information if you want, but that is so funny. Google has straight up used IE for marketing. |

| Google is the best search engine. Regarding IE, I am not using it. I trust Opera and then Firefox. Secuirty reason wise Opera is the better one. It also has a Search box (Google as the default one) embedded in the toolbar. |

| I have to disagree with you on Opera being more safe than FireFox. It's more obscure, yes but it prefetches content, etc... That's certainly not in the interest of safety. If you install the 'FasterFox' plugin for FireFox or manually turn on the prefetch functions, then maybe Opera is safer. |

| That makes sense, Kefka. Anyway, I'll never use IE again until it's the safest browser to use. (never) |

Thanks kefka for your views. Yes if Opera is prefetching contents then it might not be safe while I think if we use firefox's "noscripts" function then firefox will act safer.
But at the same time an Oprea plugin (Stay Secure) shows it is the safest of them all, with IE having 7 security holes and Firefox with 3 hole, Opera has none. You can know more about the plugin here. Well I don't read much in that but I would like to understand how much can we really trust that?
I would add one more link which shows how unsafe is IE. |

Maybe IE a symbolic link to firefox.
arppt01: I'll get back to you on that in a moment, those FireFox vulns (all of the ones in the past few months are very very conditional). |

| Yes, no problem. I will wait. Actually I also need to understand which one is best. Maybe both Opera and Firefox is neck-to-neck. Regarding IE, I have forgotten it years ago when I started using Firefox. |
