  • Attack of the 50 Foot Techno Thread

Like the 'Metal' thread, techno covers an epic fuckton of music, but to be fair some of the stuff I've been listening to recently falls more into this genre than metal.

Haha thanks for this! It is such a broad term but man I love it :)

Been listening to Atomic by Mogwai quite a bit recently.

U-235 is probably my favourite track on it. Just a really solid driving rhythm throughout, with atmospherics and little flourishes to add that extra.

Sometimes I'm not sure where the line falls between synthpop and techno. Anyway here's Lazerhawk:

If power electronics/death indus count as techno I propose this:

It works best if you make it LOUD!

The entire channel, HOR Berlin, is a treasure trove of different DJs mixing all styles of EDM. There's sure to be a flavour that suits you, whatever your taste.

Eh... l liked the detail where he had to cover his tattoos at work. At the Casino, that was a long running issue where New York tried to keep natives from working at the casino by writing a tattoo ban into the gaming compact and also prohibiting the Casino from providing any way for them to cover up. It made the security team look like they'd just broken up a fight from all the bandages they had to wear to work every day.
